What “free” actually means here
Your first game is genuinely free: no credit card, no trial clock, no account required to submit a wish. You describe the game, we build it, and the private link arrives in your email — that game is yours to play and share.
Building games costs us real compute, so unlimited free builds aren't a thing anywhere — here, extra wishes and follow-up changes run on coins, and signing up brings a free monthly allowance. No surprise paywall in the middle of your build.
Free doesn't mean a template
Whimcade doesn't hand you a reskinned template. The build agent writes your game from your words, so a cozy lighthouse puzzle and a chaotic taco-truck arcade brawler come out as genuinely different games. Most builds are ready in about ten to twenty minutes, playable in the browser on desktop or phone.
When yours is ready you can keep it private, share the link, or publish it to the public arcade — publishing is free too, and you can keep improving a game after it's published.
