Neon Riot

About this game

A fast-paced retro arcade wave shooter in a glowing neon cyberpunk arena, seen from behind your hover-gunship in pseudo-3D. Waves of runners, zig-zagging drones, snipers and armored brutes rush at you down a perspective grid; blast them with the blaster, grab spread and rail pickups, chain kills for up to x8 score multipliers, and drop screen-clearing bombs. Screen shake, hit-stop, particle bursts and floor shockwaves on every kill, with a palette that repaints each wave. Survive 8 waves including two boss fortresses to clear the arena.

How to play

Desktop: mouse moves the ship, hold click or Space to fire, Arrows/A-D also move, B = bomb, M = mute, Space/click to start or retry. Touch: drag anywhere to move, hold to fire, tap the BOMB button or a second finger to bomb.
